At Aluminum Tank & Truck Accessories Inc., we manufacture our fuel tanks from .125 gauge (1/8 inch) prime diamond tread aluminum.  All of our fuel tanks are fully baffled and pressure tested to insure high quality strength and leak proof durability.
Baffles prevent sloshing and structural strength.   Almost all of our fuel tanks have 2 full baffles and our larger tanks also make use of a ¾ baffle.   Almost all of our tanks have a fuel maze.  A fuel maze traps fuel around the sending unit strainer.  This allows better use of a low fuel situation.  We use OEM style fill necks and fuel caps.  Our fill necks will allow the use of the large diesel fuel nozzles.  Our diesel transfer tanks are constructed with reinforced standard 2” pump bungs.  Reinforced pump bungs prevents heavy-duty transfer pump from cracking of the welds.  This is just another attention to detail we take pride in every product we build.  We use quality control in every step of our manufacturing process.
